Our Static Cling Decals are easy to apply, and directions are in each package.

Before applying,

  • Clean the surface where you will be putting the decal and then wash your hands.
  • Remove the paper backing from the decal. Rewet your window surface where it will be applied.
    (The Wetter the Better) Never try to apply to a dry surface.
  • Center the decal, start in the middle and smooth out any large bubbles,
  • Use a very smooth squeegee, or credit card to work out any air bubbles and excess moisture.
  • If you have a problem with bubbles, pull back the decal and wet again.
  • Dry with a paper towel.

Hint: Save the paper backing in case you want to remove the decal or move it to another location.

  1. What holds My decal on to the glass. Do you use glue or adhesives?Answer: No glue or adhesives are used in applying your Etched Glass Static Cling Decals. Static cling is the tendency for light objects to stick (cling) to other objects owing to static electricity.   2. What do I use to apply my decal? Answer: Use either a mild dish soap and water mixture or use window cleaner that has a low ammonia content.
  3. I still have bubble in my decal, How do I get them out? Answer: You will need to peel up the decal just a little way past the bubbles. Before you reapply it, spray down the window with mixture again. Remember “The Wetter the better”. Now carefully reapply it smoothing lightly as you go.
  4. Can I clean my window over the decal or do I have to take it down?Answer: You can clean your window right over top of your Etched Glass Decal using whatever cleaner you normally would use.
  5. How do I remove my decal?Answer: Simply start at one of the edges and begin peeling it up. Slowly peel entire decal from window as it is only being held on by static cling after the water has dried.Are you still having problems installing your decals?
